WELCOME!
My name is Joanna Lewis and JoRosie is my one-woman design studio. I am a self-taught graphic designer and illustrator.
This blog is where I practice, play, and strut my stuff. It’s a mix of what I’m working on, what I’m thinking about, and life in general.
SO WHO AM I?
- I am an avid crafter and almost always have at least one project in progress.
- I think chewing gum is disgusting.
- In the 4th grade, my hand lettering mostly consisted of bubble letters.
- I Love cats, but they make me sneeze and blind my eyes with itchiness.
- I tried 5 different majors in my first two years of college. I loved them all, but finally stuck with Kinesiology. Not my best decision.
- Even though I’ve already read them all, Calvin & Hobbes comics still make me laugh out loud.
WHAT DO I DO?
I design invitations, turn envelopes into works of art, illustrate maps, illustrate my life, draw letters, and blog about it all here. Photoshop and Illustrator are my digital tools of choice, but nothing beats ink and paper. I make beautiful things.
